Tariffs and US shipping

It looks as though tariffs, while applied to many goods crossing into the U.S., are still exempting smaller value shipments (under $800). As long as that in in effect, the tariffs won’t affect normal yarn shipments crossing into the US. I believe there will be a removal of the "deminimus" threshold eventually, but for now USPS is still delivering small value, tracked packets with no tariffs.

As with many small Canadian businesses, I am very worried by the changes in US policy. I am, as many of you know, a small, one-woman operation and about 50% of my online business comes directly from my lovely US knitters and crocheters.

I will try to keep you updated as news progresses, and if any of my US customers know of changes, please let me know!

Thanks for your patience, understanding and loyalty. I appreciate you all.
